A Unique Immersion at the Heart of a Crime Scene

Located in Hall 4, the “Crime Scene” area will feature a one-of-a-kind immersive demonstration. This experience will invite Milipol Paris visitors to enter a reconstructed crime scene through mixed reality.

Equipped with next-generation immersive headsets, participants will be plunged into a technical investigative environment, as if they were actually working on-site as a crime scene investigator, facing a lifelike body physically present on the stand.

The “Crime Scene” area has been designed by Sébastien AGUILAR from ForenSeek, and is sponsored by Sopra Steria.

More than just an immersive experience, this demonstration represents a technological breakthrough in current forensic practices. It sketches the outlines of a new generation of forensic interventions, made possible by advances in augmented reality, artificial intelligence, and embedded digital assistance.

The aim? To improve efficiency, traceability, and reliability in field operations, while facilitating the collection and analysis of evidence directly on-site.

This hands-on demonstration also seeks to encourage collaboration between homeland security forces, judicial institutions, laboratories, industry players, and decision-makers, accelerating the development of practical, operational solutions and digital tools for modern forensics.
